Does the speaker work with "Alexa"
The speaker can be connected to your Amazon echo in two ways.
- By cable – you will need to run an RCA (phono) cable to the speaker
- By Bluetooth – you need to purchase a no pin version of the speaker as alexa does not use a pin to connect via bluetooth ( make sure you specify this in notes at checkout)
Can i fit the speaker in a bathroom
If putting the speaker in a kitchen or bathroom you should purchase the IP44 rated speaker
Do I need a separate amplifier
No the speaker has the amplifier built in – Just add power!
Do i need more than one speaker
In a small room like a bathroom the speaker will play both channels in mono, for larger rooms or to achieve stereo sound a second passive speaker is required.
I have no plug socket near; how can i get power to the speaker
The speaker can be powered from your lighting circuit although you will need to check there is a permanent live available otherwise the speaker will only work when the light is on.
Can i fit the speaker myself
Yes,The speaker should be fitted by a competent person that means if you have basic DIY skills and a reasonable knowledge of electrics you should have trouble in fitting the speaker yourself
